ON EDGE!

I'm about to give my cat a hysterectomy w/ a spoon.

I'm a bad cat parent - I admit it. Poor Scuba Steve. She's "my" first cat, and I haven't been able to gather my courage together to bring her to the vet to be spayed. Yes, yes, I know that supposedly it's healthier for her to be spayed. But, I couldn't bear the thought of my kitty being cut up and cut out and sewed up. So barbaric!! or so I thought. until now.

So, she's been going into heat for awhile now and we've dealt w/ it by locking her in the studio, praying to all things holy that the Aurelex will dampen the ceaseless crying. This week - I just can't handle it. It's driving me up a fricken wall.

And the downstairs neighbours are moving out. Hmmmmm, wonder why.

Let's also talk about how much I HATE CLEANING. That's right. We're STILL cleaning the kitchen. yeah, since June.

and I'm all of out of ciggys.

Not sure why I'm so tense. I've had wicked insomnia. The cat is irritating me. And I'm a wee bit stressed about this weekend. But other than THAT, life is good. job is fine. I'm not in collections w/ anybody. Got me a car that goes vroom vroom. So why am I so spikey?!

POLL: What should I do to de-stress?!?

Cure for stress: Figure out what a)makes you happy and b)don't worry too much about everything else. The shit just ain't that important.

I don't care what they say, tobacco and booze are great for you. Go get a pack of ciggys and start drinking.

thanks for the fab suggestions. ciggys won.

so a week has gone by and how did I end up de-stressing? watch 90210. the rest of our problems pale in comparision to what those kids had to go through.

de-stress...if onyl everyone knew how to tackle such a feat. I suggest bottles (yes plural) of merlot. perhaps even chiraz. and long drawn out music sessions with every emphasis being placed upon thy self. I think just being silly is a wonderful remedy of stress. ahhh, that and flirting. even better, how about flirting through some sort of creative medium? stress can be a good thing, it helps one to grow and to learn more about themselves. so anytime you feel like destressing with your favorite stone-character, you know who to call, or throw rotten veggies at. =)
smile, it's ROCKtober.
